Default My superlows don't look low enough

Last Friday i had all the gear in the last line of my sig installed and im not happy with the ride height.

PIC 1
PIC 2
PIC 3

I've seen cars on lows higher than mine. i was under the impression the wheels would be just up in the guards. please tell me it'll drop about an inch somehow.

Well yeah, it does look a bit high to be superlow. It's not what you want to hear, but my car on lows is certainly not even that high.

How long has the stuff been in the car? Id give it a week, if it doesnt go down, head back to where it was done and ask for a 'please explain'.

Hamo got some SL Kings springs he thought they were not low enough either he then went and got some SSL kings, and then you well need shortened shocks as well.

I dont think anyone's messed you round, i think it just needs a while to settle. I know that mine was about 5-10mm lower a month after it was dropped, it does take time but its well worth it.

Damn i love that car. Hornet, 2 very big thumbs up.

I guess putting some extra weight on the car for a while wouldnt hurt, if i were you id just let it go as it pleases though.

Thanks heaps back2thefutura, nothing like a nice clean E series really. Thats all my car is, clean and straight. No poxy yellow indicators, and no stickers, low with nice rims.

The only problem I find with puting extra weight int the boot, is it makes the back lower, and not the front, saging rears isn't a good look!!

All you need to do is undo the Twist clip from the bumper and put the slide one back in.
then put the Twist one back in.

somethings not right there man... either
1) they aint superlows, they are lows
2) those shocks are the wrong ones, take em back and get others.
3) your mechanic installed it all wrong lol

It will settle, but not to the level they should.

Yeah mate, i'd be taking it back to the workshop where you got it done and asking a few questions. It's possible they stuffed something up along the line.

well i bought all the gear myself and had a mech do it. the shockies could be non short throw ones but its not a hard enough ride to suggest that. its quite a good ride actually. i'll just have to wait till my guy gets back from his holidays and ask him about it.

Check the part numbers on the springs against the part number in the catalogue to see if they are the right ones.

http://www.kingsprings.com.au/Kings%...e%20041103.pdf

Superlows are at the end of the document.

My ED looked exactly the same after installing Kings Superlows. (I installed them myself and yes I tripled checked the part numbers)
I even parked next to another ED XR with superlows and it was atleast an inch higher.

Since then I have installed Super Superlows and now looks like its at a height that everyone elses is with just SL.

I do have shortened Bilstein shocks which are quite stiff, so thats the only reason I can think of.

Yah, that looks pretty high to me! Go back to the mechanic like has been said, and double check part numbers etc. It's strange how high it is sitting...

Martin, your car looks horny as with those rims. A bit off topic, do you have the door trims and power windows to the 'mont?
