But on the bright side. As long as the fuel prices stay high our mortgages should not rise. I hope...

Higher fuel proces lead to higher inflation, and they use inflation as a guide for interest rates. The other day on the radio they where saying that the interest rates may increase as early as next month. I hope not, but what can you do?
