Hi Redxr601 & welcome to AFF, i dont know the size of the bearing but if you dismantle your a/c compressor & take the bearing down to a local bearing place they can measure it up & supply one one for you. Good luck!

cheer's, Maka

A guess, but I'd say it'd go close.
Unless someone jumps in here & says "yes", then it may require both gearboxes to be placed on the ground next to each other & compared/measured up.

If you're keen on the exchange, get a couple of junk casings/bellhousings & see how they compare.

I don't think the engine blocks have changed much, but the "bellhousing to engine" bolt holes may be different, & the gearbox cross mount would be different. Then there's the electronics/speedo to consider.
Again, I'm guessing here.

Start with transmission service, as this is the cheapest option - Filter and 4L of TQ95. Can be amazing the difference a service will make.

According to the work shop manuals, both 6 cyl EL and AU run a BTR 93LE tranmission, and both are controlled from the EECV ECU. My guess is that they would fit.
