Default 5ltr on Giggle Juice (nitrous)

Does anyone know how much nitrous a stock 5ltr will take before exploding. I've got a kit and want to run it on my next Quarter mile run but im not sure how much the Old girl will take before packing it in? :eclipsee_

Absolute Max of 150 shot, and make sure you get it tuned to run nitrous, so that it retards the ignition timing. Or she will be all over before you can blink

Max power on the stock widnsro blocks is around 400, maybe 450 HP. That's 300 to 335 kw (at the fly). The XR8 220s work out at around 295, so as james has suggested, somewhere between 100 and 150; to be safe, I wouldn't go much more than a 100hp shot.

If you go a sportsman block, they can handle nearly twice the power.

Cheers for that. I asked around over the weekend and have got my hands on 150hp shot. I have plans for the boss 302 block stroked to 347 very soon so it will be interesting!! Haha

Doug, run a 100 shot. I would also say that you should pull your timing back a couple degrees too.

Did you get a wet kit or a dry kit?

How do you plan on retarding ignition timing?

Its a dry kit. Stu im thinking of running 2 different tunes on a capa flash. One with gas and one without. Should beat most problems hopefuly. I got access to 150hp kit but with different jets it'll do 100hp wont it. Your the expert when it comes to little blue bottles
