Lightbulb Bathurst Get Together

was just wondering who is getting together for the bathurst race :eclipsee_ with mates, family, no one lol, etc.

was also wondering what everyone has planned for it, drinks : bbq?? am looking for ideas as i might be having one at my new house so i want it to be good.

if anyone is interested in coming along, let me know cos it would be good to get a whole heap of ford boys and gals together to slay some lions :sm_headba .

let me know. GO FORD AND GO SBR

ill be on the couch drinking and ill probably have a bbq.

one year we should have a FFA bathurst cruise...imagine that! And one very big FFA.com banner to show off.

Would be good publicity!

There's always a bunch of blokes going from the FPV & XR club of Vic. every year and set up camp on top of the hill.

Same thing we do every year - go to my mate Davids place, crank up the surround and big screen TV and watch it over BBQ and beers. Love Bathurst weekend My mates are predominantly Holden fans which makes for some.... colourful conversation.

Hopefully I wont be working. If I am im taking a TV to work, If not Ill probably get smashed and watch it at one of my mates houses.

I would love to go to Bathurst one day but apparently you have to book way in advance to get anywhere to stay in Bathurst whereas I wouldnt be able to plan that far ahead because we only have 3 people at my work so getting someone to cover is hard.

I'm going to park my big @$$ on the couch and enjoy the days proceedings. Can't really do anything regarding money leading up to Indy, so yeah, that's what I'm doing.

I dread Bathurst, as Matt will not leave the lounge the whole day. But he has planned to have all his mates over drink lots of beer and have a BBQ. Looks like I will have to see what my friends are up to, not putting up with all the male hormones thats for sure.

Looks like no work for him on Monday....great a man with a hangover who thinks he is dying.

Last year was great. Few of the e-series guys over, TV on, Bigpond on (even though it sucks), PS2 set up with V8 Supercars 2, Bathurst slot track out (pity it'd been in storage for a good 5 years and didn't work too well). Wonder if I should do it again.

Oh yeah, also sucked that we lost.

Heh, lapping faster than the real deal even though you're belting the walls all across the top of the mountain is great. As is bouncing off the limiter at 324 kph down Conrod.

Lol ive actually flew over other cars before on the Bathurst track. Even landed in the backwindscreen of another car too. Great fun when youve had a bit to drink.
