Default changing standard dash to tickford dash in a au series 2

i have a problem trying to change my standard dash to a tickford dash. When installed the right indicator and the instrument lights don't work is this a common problem due to it not being compatable or is the dash faulty?

Maybe try a search , i read a thread on this issue not long ago , and one of the members here gave a full listing of what wires need to be swapped around on the cluster plugs to get different series clusters to work in different series cars .

A few wires do need to be swapped around on the plug , the cluster isn't stuffed ;) .

EDIT .......

Actually i think this was the thread http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=65477 cheers .

Lg does.

Youd be surprised how easy it is. You only need to change a few wires over to the other side, I used little clip on things to make them hold onto the correct plugs rather then making a loom and works perfect also holds on strong too. Worth while mod but then you need to change your km's, I still havent done it and it still bugs me.
