Wink 1 XF Ute + 1 Full Pallet =

Just went to the shop to get a Steak sandwich for lunch and i noticed an XF ute that was sitting a bit funny, so on closer inspection i noticed the big pallet on the back, obviously overloaded, no suprise in Shepp.
So i walked around having a good laugh to myself, and then there was a loud BANG! and the pallet shifted.... here is the end result...

I could only get 2 pics before the guy chased me back to my car, haha

What i thought was the funniest was, the owner was sitting in the ute listening to the radio like nothing happened....
Until he saw me looking and aiming with my phone, so followed me yelling...haha

You should have hung back and waited to see if he put the scissor jack under that.

Oh the indignity

Happily corrected here....

But they look to be rolls of Plastic Mulch Film. It's laid under some crops to prevent weeds growing and help keep evaporation down.
Some rolls can weigh up to 80kg!!!
By the way the pallet is stacked, it'll be the heavy stuff too. So thats more than 1300kg's when you include the weight of the pallet.
Just a little bit keen there.....

Yeah true, whoever loaded it on there it had shipping stickers on it was an idiot to let him go aswell, judging by his parking job he was in a hurry to park because the GV highway is just behind that service road..

And on the way home, there was a Jackaroo with 10-15 empty pallets stacked up, not tied down or anything, and just sitting in the tray. That could have been a disaster aswell..

Everyone dangerously overloads at some point. If not the suspension than at least the driveline.

I know I have loaded my ute up a fairbit on the odd ocasion ... but that's crazy ... comes close to what some of them do in India with the buses and trucks.

He could have at least used a few occy straps.

I am surprised the front wheels weren't off the ground ... bt i guess being a XF ... there's a load more suspension travel.

He'd only need a rope to tie to a sky hook to stop the load falling through the floor of the ute.
