Thumbs up Top Gear Launches in Feb on 9

According to TV Week this week, page 43. TG starts early February, with Bana in the reasonably priced car. OZ TG starts in June with Clarkson to host some episodes.

Series 14 is pretty good, it is well worth looking at.
The Bolivian Special is fantastic too, Episode 6 that is.

Be good to see Bana.

IMO Top Gear has strayed way too far off the topic (cars) with all those idiotic challenges.

I like the not so serious approach they make to tv, primarily/in essence I suppose it is a car show but I have always viewed it as a good general entertainment program.

Its a good thing Australian TV is over 2 months behind with this sort of stuff.:

Hell we are 8 weeks behind in both NCIS and a full season behind in House.

A day or two behind would be fine, but months is rather harsh tbh.

Eric bana was excellent to watch in Season 14 Ep1.

TG S14 is shot in Full HD too, so hopefully Ch.9 will show this in 1080i

you can also download all the topgear episodes including 720p and 1080i rips of season 14 from www.finalgear.com

No, each SD episode is only 750MB.

The trick with uTorrent is to make it shut down when al downloads are complete, otherwise if you leave you r comp on it will continually seed data to the other computers. But then again, thats the whole point LOL!

Just don't set you upload limit too high, mine is set on 5KBps, and autoshutdown when downloads complete.

That way a 750MB file should only use about 760MB.

Agreed. I set my upload limits to 2kbs, that way I'm still seeding, but it's not taking all the bandwidth. Maybe try swapping to an ISP package that is unlimited between certain times.

I just have an ISP that dosent charge upload. That way I can download all episodes I want. I only have 10gb now days and havent gone over yet, come close.
Love topgear its just a pity we are so far behind with shows. Im in Hobart which still showing heaps of repeats of shows and some right back to the first series. NCIS is so old I dont even bother watching anymore

Woohoo bring on Top Gear.

Our broadband stinks. Its with Bigpond and can be quite laggy so I cant download much on it. Should change it over to something else. Any recommendations?

Bombala doesn't have sbs, so until now i've not seen TG. since getting austar i've been watching it on BBC Knowledge (612). They are about 2-3 years behind at least, but they started from the start of 'the new top gear'.
These guys actually LOVED the (vauxhall) Monaro... so i think we need to get these goons into a new falcon.

Top gear on the BBC goes for a smidge over 1 hour.So with all the ads on channel 9
it would have to be on for 1 1/2 hours or cut some out to show for an hour.
