Default master cylinder for 6/4 brembos

When up grading a 2004 BA falcon to 6/4 brembo calipers do you need a FPV master cylinder to operate them properly or even a different booster???????

I beleive the master cyclinder in the FPV's was the same as a regular falcon. I also have the parts to upgrade to 6/4 brembos, just need the time to change it all over.

I am curious if a change is required for the master cylinder.

When I first put them 6/4 brembos on this BA XT falcon they work great but for a while now they don’t seem to bit as good and I’m getting the ABS come on at random times mostly at light pedal input????.

I understand my cars ABS is tuned for a stock braking set up.... but it never used to do it so just asking in case I need to bring other parts up to spec

Anyone got ideas on the ABS coming on??

There were different boosters and master cylinders in BA to BF series but had nothing to do with Brembos or standard brakes. It was more to do with if you had ABS, DSC, traction control etc.

FPV have different master cylinder for brembo combo. Its the crack pressure difference between front and rear.

All the BA/F part numbers are listed below, there was nothing unique for an FPV, it is more about the spec of ABS/traction control etc..
