Default Car Research Websites?

i am currently looking for a website that has detailed info (mainly specs) of all cars across the board like Redbook has. im finding with Redbook that older cars tend to not have detailed info like Kw, fuel economy etc. i did find one website the has a research section for all makes and models and was complete but cant seem to find it again.
anyone know what it is or have another detailed site they would like to share?
