Just curious if anyone knows the highest HP or quickest ET ever produced in Australia with a street registered LPG fuelled car.
I know of one falcon that has run 10.2 and pumps about 320RWKW.(550hp) Another that runs 10.76 power unknown. Heard about an orange camaro running 10's as well. Please feel free to suggest anything regarding LPG. Cheers |

it doesn't surprise me,when i done my LPG fitting course at sydney tafe back in 1993 the teachers thier we're building a race engine on LPG they swore buy the stuff as a far SUPERIOR FUEL to petrol or diesol, because just increasing the compression to 13.5 to 1 can increase the performance considerably. there was talk back then by the teachers of 1000hp engines. nowadays with liquid gas injection coming in the door is open for more inprovements . i'm sure someone else will have seen rediculously high powered LPG ENGINES AROUND.

I vaguely recall the Colin Townsends Turbo'd LPG 265Hemi powered VG Valiant sedan has circa 6-700hp (twin converters, blow through Impco), but its not setup for running quarters. Been a while since i've talked to any of those guys...
