Id say no.
You lost your license, drove again without a license and lost it for 2 more years.
You dont even have a job so you have no need for a license.

Thats how any court would see it.
Wanting a license so you can look for a job isnt going to cut it either.
You have feet, parents, friends and public transport that you can use - just the same as everyone else without a license.

I know a bloke here that has a job and lost his license, so every day he got on his pushy and rode the 35km to work whether it was raining or not.
This guy is over 50 and is pretty large too but he still managed to do it - so could you.

Theres also those new annoying electric push bikes now which i dont think you need a license for - they seem to be pretty good and reliable.

Without wanting to sound um.... rude but im sure you'll take it the wrong way.

You lost your licence for doing the wrong thing, learn to deal with the consequences of your actions. No one else to blame but yourself.

The courts wont give you back your licence simply because your finding it a bit "tough". You dont have a job, therefor you don't need a license.

If you lost your job because you lost your licence, its called "cause and effect".
Next time you may think again (hopefully) before you do something stupid on the road.
Your licence is a privelidge, not a right.

You asked for a simple answer... it was given.
You didnt like someones elses responce and had a go at him....
Still not learning...

should have thought about that before you drove while disqualified.

you won't win any friends by attacking the very people who are trying to help by providing right answers. So pull your head in.

See a solicitor.

There are some pretty good ones in Kingaroy.

Law is complex and not for "amateurs"

from what i have seen you shouldnt have too many problems ...but the more you get caught the more time you get so ,be very aware .if its genuine cause it will be restricted with zero boundaries ...home work home and good luck ,you only have been caught once so you will be fine ,best learn from it

i have no idea what im on about.........Im not the one asking the question.

Your situation was not mentioned and in honesty is not my concern.
there are plenty of people doing it worse than you as well.

Why cant you get the dole?
why cant you go live with your brother?
have you even bothered to consult the businesses you owe money to?
have you done anything at all regarding your situation except ask a question here?

No one is going to stick there hand out for you to grab on to, you need to make things happen for yourself.
If you cant take the time to look through the net and get all relevant info regarding getting your license back, then theres no point even trying.

BTW, getting your license back isnt free either.

There was a recent discussion here in QLD that they were thinking of abolishing restricted use licences for work reasons.

Simply because too many people are being caught speeding, drunk etc while on these restrictions....

Again, learn to deal with YOUR actions... you shoulda thought about it before you did what you did.

You lost your licence for 6 months (which means you built up 5 or more demerit points if QLD is same as VIC) and then were caught driving without a licence, all while on P plates. Really?

Not having a stab at you but it seems you've backed yourself into a corner here.

Mate Im pretty sure you arent eligible for one if you are on a provisional license of any sort, and last I looked any DUI offences to your record you wont get it either. From the sounds of your posts you seem pretty desperate and I for one feel for you so good luck and as said see if you can get some sort of handout.
I dont know what caused you to lose your license the first time, but it is easy to lose, I got done for 2 points for 60km/h in a 50km/h zone, that was a heavy industrial area and not signposted which I always thought was a 60 zone.

I know it sucks to hear but places like Maccas and Domino's will put anyone on and as much as the work sucks (I hated it) it may be your only choice.

Good luck mate, chin up.

Oh yeah thats right you are with your parents, in that case I doubt you'll get anything. At your age I think its silly to have that many debts and commitments, Im 18 and really hate having anything over my head, even a $200 loan from my parents but I guess you werent expeceting to be out of a steady income. There is always work, I dont know what town you are in but just try going for a walk one day dropping resumes in and tell them youre desperate theres gotta be something there.
Also, what did you lose the license for in the first place?

How much do you owe on the car loan? If you sell it, will it cover the balance? If it does, I'd sell it ASAP before they just come and take it, and you lose all youve paid off it. Id be getting that out of the way straight away if you can.

Oh and Ive just seen a flaw in your idea which I think others have aswell. In order to get a work license, last time I checked, it had to be accompanied by a letter from your employer stating that basically, if you lose your license, you lose your job. As you dont have a job, you wont get the work license. Sorry mate.
