Yep, I was thinking the same. 49 cubic inchs too much for a Goss coupe.

Dude, I picked up an XB GT for $3,000 in 2003. Muscle car prices have gone through the roof. Think I'll hang onto mine for a bit.

As far as I know all John Goss specials came out with 302s but I have been wrong before. But if you read the add it says GT running gear so to my knowledge thats a 351 motor isn't it?

GT running gear is 9", 4 barrel 351 and toploader/singlerail, the JGS were 302 2 barrel, BW diff and singlerail.... nothing like GT running gear.

It may have sold for that much on e-bay, but time will tell if the deal actually goes through.

Yeah mate I know that but the actual add in vendor comments said GT running gear. That why it has a 351 in it and should have a 9inch as well so obviously it not orginal. Did you read the add?

Yep, JGS was (a slug of a) 302, B/W diff, and can vouch for the single rail!.. Had the gearshift come out of the box that many times on 1st to 2nd changes.. Tried superglue, loctite, you name it, on that POS plastic nut.
Ended up making an aluminium one.
