Default had a crack at a 2nd cai

i got bored yesterday and had this brilliant idea of doing a second cai simalar to the f6 one that sits below the back of the headlight(well it seemed briliant when i thought about it).my theory was to try and channel some more air around to the other side of the pod filter.
its made out of alloy flashing and held together with pop rivets and the old trusty silicon .in one of the pics you'l see where i rolled back the bit of metal behind the headlight , which allowed for a much bigger snorkel piece to be fitted.it would look a lot nicer if you grooved it out with a dremel or somthing .
performance wise ,its not going any slower, which is a good thing .there are some links for some pics below .

Out of interest, have you noticed any improvement performance wise? I've been thinking about doing something like this, but can't really be bothered if there is no noticeable gain.

On my sons EF we went through the bottom, put a hole in the panel which is covered by the air box and used flexi tube, It goes down hidden behine the wheel arch inner guard mould and we placed it square on to the vent in the lower spoiler area. When he is moving along and nails it you can definately hear it suck.

not realy mate ,when i get a chance i'll take it to willowbank for a run.i reckon it can't hurt gettin a bit more air in there.
