Default XR8 AU Transmission

hey,

Just wondering what troubles you guys/girls have had with a manual/Auto box in a XR8 AU II ute and are there any tell tail sign to look for.

With manual if it feels notchy trying to get a gear the syncro's are worn or the tabs might be broken.

Also if there is a vibration up the rev range it might be a worn input shaft pocket bearing(this is what i found in mine)
