Bit of an update, went out to calder last night with new slicks, fresh oils and filters etc etc etc and was the very first car in the lanes did the burnout staged brought the revs up to 5,000 as usual off we go.......aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh no a HUGE bang from the back blew the diff centre to smitherines. Diff oil everywhere.

Will pull it out during the week and post a few pics.

two questions craig....

do you have to run stock BA rotors for the drag rims?

and what textralia clutch do you use. z grip or twin plate?

Yes standard brakes are required with a modification required on the bolt that holds the brake hose onto the caliper.

I use a "Z" Grip that has been modified by me.

thanks for that, i was under the impression you just had to change the calipers, and not the rotors. better source some stock rotors then too....

I feel a road trip coming on................. Planning a trip Interstate in the next couple of months so I think I'll put a towbar on it to pull my dog float. Time for me to drive it for a while.

Well I don't think that diff will be able to be reconditioned, it sure did explode. Glad to hear you've fixed it all up. So did you put 4.10 gears back in?
