Default FPV line up changes

Sounds like FPV have cut the F6 ute, GTE and F6E sedans from their line up effective July 1.

Is there an official announcement on this?
G6E's aren't FPV's though?

Highly doubt they would cut the F6 Ute out. It's practically the same as an XR6T mechanically. Just with different trim bits.

That's a shame, GTE & F6E are my two favorite FPV models but if they are not selling then there is not a lot of point making them.....

The pursuit has. I have a feeling this might be a wind up though.

The OP is a Ford Dealer isn't he? I'd say he'd have the inside scoop.

Is a shame though, soon it'll be down to XR6 and G6 left.

barra240t sells FPV vehicles in his family's dealership. I would be fairly confident that he does not get his info from some journo's web site.

Makes commercial sense IMO as GTE's and F6E's have been the slowest selling models for years.

that`s a shame, you have to wonder how many people actually test drive these cars, surely once driven it would be a sale.

That puts me out of buying another FPV then, the other models don't really do it for me and stripes scream mid-life crisis too much.

Strange Trev I thing the E series screams old men to me. I like the stripes , if you've got it flaunt it. Each to their own I do believe but this is the same story that was told when the force series disappeared without trace.

I guess we will have to wait and see what 2014 brings. There may be option packs to keep everyone happy.

What about a GTP without stripes (which can be done from factory) and we remove your decklid spoiler and replace it with a lip spoiler?

That is the only other option really Barra, but I hate GT-P seats. I have always loved the Force cars and when they were replaced by F6E and GTE I always really desired them. They make me turn my head more than any of the striped up cars to be honest as I love the classy look.

Bossxr8 was right on the money then, must work at a dealer or on the production line?

It's pretty amusing though, considering the XR8 next year will be reborn with the same spec engine as the FG GT, could you imagine being a HSV owner forking out all that money on a brand new GTS, then pulling up to the lights next to a FH XR8 and then sitting side by side all the way to 100 and beyond
Even more embarrasing would be the lower spec variants of the VF in HSV's stable getting whopped by a factory XR8.
