Default temp gauge on ed at auction

this is a photo of an ed coming up at auction, I'm not going to buy it. already got an ed and want an el but I was wondering if there is any reasonable explanation to why the temp gauge is so high in this photo

If you look close it also has zero oil pressure and very little charge going to the battery

prolly has a leak, its not uncommon for a hose to be on its last legs...

with all hoses good, temp gauge will stay really really low

lol could be 1 of 2 things, stuffed cluster, or no water and have been running it for a while, but really, do you think an auction group would be that organised to have photos taken as soon as a car comes in, and thats only IF it was driven in. if it was smashed and taken in on a tow truck it wouldnt have been running, so id say 80-90% chance of a stuffed cluster..

Looks to me like its koeo. That would explain the alt light being on, the battery voltage being lower than when its running and no oil pressure. doesnt explain the rpm tho.
