Default My new car

Hi guys and gals

Picked up a xdemo focus sport diesel the other day.

Soooooo much quicker than I had expected (compared to the Mondeo)

Just got to find "excuses" to go for a drive!

The diesel was the only choice for me. I mostly do hwy klms so was a no brainer. I also have the powershift / diesel combo in the Mondeo, so was ok to go that combo again.

One thing that surprised me was how much quicker it is than the Mondeo and the lancer it replaced. I'm going to have to be more "considered" with the application of the loud pedal!

I test drove a blue focus and wasn't all that taken by it. The white really stands out.

Does anyone know how to have the passenger side dual zone stay at the same temperature as the drivers side? My OCD is starting to show through and I'm adjusting both sides to keep them the same.

Dan

Should have had a look through the forums first, think I found the answer!

Hey Dan. Welcome

Dunno what the others are on about calling white a 'color' .... Just stirring :P I agree, they look the goods in white!

Incase you didnt find the answer:
To get your dual zone back to normal, hold the auto button down for a few seconds and it will be back to normal! Just remember, the second you (or the missus, in my case) turns the passenger side knob, it will re-activate the "zoning" (or whatever you want to call it) and the temps will be out of whack again.

At least its easy to revert it back.

It's a great little car. The torque on tap is quite seductive!

Had to get the tinting redone though as the workmanship was a bit suspect. Guy came to my house to redo it too, so bonus!

Same colour as my 2012 Trend,....love it because it doesn't need to be washed so frequently,..... white doesn't show the road grime as do most colours, especially black

I didn't immediately notice the road grime on the car after a couple of weeks until it got some hail damage and I ran my fingers over the dent and wiped some off.

Hopefully the weekend is dry and can give both cars a thorough wash.
