Default Wife or Car

Ok it's a silly sounding title. (Husband or Car equally works)

But I've been in this situation to make a choice.

I chose the car and never looked back!! ha.

In life we all love our toys on our hard earned.

What do you have which is a non-negotiable? As in it stays with you regardless?!

Cars, bikes, whatever, something special to you?

ps; fun thread, in good spirit

Haha I would choose my wife! I got a good one, and my car isn't that flash. Can't think of anything I have that is non negotiable (except the kids/wife), all else is just material.
In saying that, when I eventually get an XC Cobra 351 4-speed all bets are off...

If you're single ask yourself which one will work best as a pickup line in a pub.

"Can I give you a lift home? I've got my Benz/Jag/Porsche in the carpark"

or

"Can I give you a lift home in my Ford?"

women married or not are going to cost you for the "pleasure" of their company

you either pay as you go or pay at the end

If a woman makes you choose, choose the other. The one that doesn't make you choose is the one to keep.

I had a different problem. My ex kept encouraging me to buy toys. One of those I bought in 08 for 12 is now worth about 35. Always thought she was the brains of the operation...

I sat mine down early in the piece to watch Love The Beast. She got it pretty quick.
She watched and helped me build the Escort, she's a part of it's story now and drives it herself with pride.
I won't part with either of them.

haha, youngest from a large family, all brothers. Waste not want not mentality by necessity.
She did a youtube tutorial the other week and swapped out the thermostat in the washing machine. If I hadn't already I'd have proposed on the spot.

My wife keeps asking why I don't help with the grocery shopping like I used to years ago...I didn't want to tell her it's because we had a G6ET and it was the only time I could drive it... at night, quiet roads and cooler weather...sold the car and still have the wife and i'm just as happy until I see photo's of the G6ET come up on my pc's screen saver...

The old saying regards the three ”Fs”..if it flies, floats or err you work out the latter it will cost you money. Hey, can’t take it with you
Not negotiable is my old XM Coupe, first car I bought, too much fun, too many memories, I’m not letting it go. It’s getting the makeover when the ute is done.

I’ll be into the flying side of it then. Luckily my better half likes me doing stuff, gets me out of the way and gives her some peace for girly stuff. I know I need garage time and space for my own sanity, not doing this stuff to me would be like amputating certain essential body components. Having an understanding other half makes me feel lucky, I gave her the drum early on so she knew what I was like and she was cool with it...whew.
