Default SS Induction for AU.

Can anyone tell me anything about the SS Induction kits for the AU.. do they do much at all, besides cost more than $300.00?

I was told to get a SS Induction kit and run it with a k&n filter. I had an offical holden Cold Air Induction kit on my VR commodore with a k&n filter and noticed a little bit more.

Is the SS Induction kit worth getting.. or is there a better option?

I've got one (paid $100 second hand for it), and it really is just a rice mod (more looks than function). Actually, while it doesn't terchnically add much power, it does let the engine breathe better. Is it worth $300+ - not in my opinion, which is why I waited until I could get one cheaper.

As JC stated, it lets the engine breathe better. The main difference that you will notice will be throttle response. If memory serves the spec sheets states an increase in kw's but I don't believe it.
