I normally don't have a great deal of faith in what the redbook says but that seems round about on the money to me for a change.

I would gladly sell my S2 SR, (even though it has less kays 78,000) take a loss and buy yours but the price will be way too high. It would end up being a $10,000 changeover or something like that. Heck, for $10,000 plus the AU on trade in, I could easily get a BA now! Now easy there fellas, I don't want a BA, it's just a comparison, and an explanation of the frustrations of selling AU's. Selling an AU to buy and AU will see a loss of $$$$.

Because there are BAs around to burn, our beloved AU takes a hammering in resale! Now if I was buying an AU, and had cash, just like when I went hunting for the SR in December, I would have been very keen!! LOL!

But even then, there are complications. Allow me to explain, I wouldn't want to offer only what I can actually afford to pay for it if you get me? That's the frustration of the forum sometimes, you don't want to try to beat down a fellow AU guy on price! Plus we know what they would give you on a trade, bugger all, but know what they are really worth, to us anyway!! Double edged sword I guess!

I hope you get a great price for it, all the very best with your sale!

lovely car but how much did you pay and are you thinking you might make a profit or loss on the sale?

selling a car after 7 months usually means losing lots of money.

put it in the for sale section
