Minor/Major Services - your habits? - Page 2

Hi guys,

I recently got my AU and its just clicked over 76k's. I'm thinking about regular servicing, and I was just curious as to how often as well as where other people get their's serviced....

I know the minor services are every 10k's, with major servicing at 50k's. I reckon I'll get those done for mine, and I was looking at Midas since they're a somewhat reliable mechanic. Since its a performance car it'll cost around $220 for a minor service, and havent asked about major servicing.

Also since it has certain consumable performance parts in it (e.g. spark plugs) I'm not sure how good the mechanics are going to understand it and its tuning too.

What are people thoughts? Do you swear by regular servicing, are u a DIY servicer, do u only service when u feel its needed or what?
