I was just wondering if its possible to get a 302 into a mark 2 cortina. I don't know the difference between windsors and clevelands, but the smaller sized block of the two (i think they both come in a 302). I want to keep the car street legal and I know it can be because here in perth there is a mark 1 cortina running around with a 5L TVR engine.
Any information about getting the engine in, what engine to buy (out of what car) and how easy (hard) it is to do it yourself (i've done a couple of engine transplants before). |

yes a windsor v8 will fit into a MK2 engine bay
are are suited more than some because of the front end steering which is rear of the crossmember. windsor sump is at the front so will fit using a bronco type sump exhausts fitting around the starter and steering box can be a little tricky as they are both on the same side |
