Default Stereo CD not working

Hi guys, I need some info.
Battery went flat so went to Ford to get code that I never had with the car. After being ripped off I got the code. :

Now that the radio is working the CD player is not. I have the 6 stack in dash thing that came out in the TS50.

I know that there are CDs in there as I get reminded everytime that my mate wants his CD back thats in there (ACDC).

Anyhelp on how to get it working would be great.

Its not registering any CD, load or unload.

all ford stanadrd 6 stackers are bound to stuff up, aparantly they are 1 of the more common faults and are often replaced with aftermarket for that very reason.
i know most on these forums who have wanted to keep it have had to open it up on occasions due to a cd being stuck in there, and some times just removing the cd has fixed the issue

other then that i have no clue
