Default Stripes for the Lime Tart

Our local stripe guy has done some concept art for stripes. Now, we're not repainting the car - he's altered the colour so that you can see the stripes.

Just thought I'd share. Any grab you?

Cheers

Sorry - can't seem to get the images any larger!

If the images were numbered left-right, top-bottom, here are my opinions.
1 - I think I like it
2 - not bad
3 - I'm not convinced
4 - NO!
5 - I'll remove it myself if you do.

Remembering of course that these are my opinions and it is your car, so do it to please yourself, not me or anyone else. Actually, wait, isn't it the bosses car? BEst let her decide. lol
Anyways, I'm a big fan of not putting decals and stuff on a car. That's just how I roll. I reckon it looks fantastic as it sits.

Yes, it's the Boss's car (sorry, alomost forgot the capital "B") - she's the one that asked Michael to do the images.

As for leaving it the way it is, that's an option too. She's just seeing what else is possible. Using your numbering, I like 1 or 2.

Cheers

The cobra is on 4 Chris, is that the one you were talking about?
I actually wouldn't mind 4, without the snake and with smaller stripes.

yeah number 4 ! i like it with out the stripes but with the snake since ford did a very few cobras in a simular colour ! very very few of them were made ! so that would be some thing different i wouldnt have them so obvious, but it is helen and gregs GT so it would be their choice, but if i owned the time tart and was looking to do some thing that would be the way i would choose it or have nothing at all i love their lime tart, CAN I HAVE A PIECE OF THE LIME TART, since TARTS are my thing

After a good deal of back and forth, we've had The Lime Tart, well, tarted up.

None of the previous ones really excited us, so in a flash of inspiration, we started with the FPV logo and moved on from there. Kudos to Michael at Wide Bay Signs - he's so clever. (Though, he had to drive it from the shop to school and now he wants one... )

Colours are a deep blue and a mid grey. Both have a metallic flake in them.

We were after something a bit different and with the colour so "in your face", we felt that we could be a bit bold. Whilst I realsie that the design may polarise people, as does the fact that we elected to stripe it all, we're happy.

Every one else can go to hell.

that looks freakin awesome! with that much flat colour it had to be broken up, and i think you've acheived that objective- good job.

Given that it has come with so many options and add-ons courtesy of the previous owner (man, I love the stereo, even if The Boss doesn't like the boot space it uses), there's not much more I'd do. Keep in mind this is our daily driver.

Perhaps thicker sway bars?

Some tuning work?

An under bonnet supercharger? (Who said THAT?)

Cheers

mate that is smick as. really suits the lime colour. Maybe the sign dude should photoshop some other strip colour options on other car colours.

but then again, that wouldnt make urs a one off hey

Thanks, guys. I reckon that they look far better "in the metal" - the photos don't do them justice. I catch a glimpse of it at work, in the shed, or when The Boss goes past and think how good they look.

It's just a great car all round.

As for the "one off" thing, I kind of hope that he doesn't do any more, but I'll live with it if he does. Each time I see one I'll think, "That started with my idea."

Cheers

I'd interpret it to be something along the lines of the car now looking like a Skyline or similar model - some of the people that own those cars go for a particular look - large graphics, fibreglass kits, turbo etc. Now that our car has large graphics, I think he's adding it to that category.

In short, rice = Japanese car, or a car that is modified along that line.

I may be wrong, because I'm just n00b.

Cheers

he's just being a troll, which is very unique.

i'm not usually a fan of graphics but i think it's pretty well done in your case, and yes the fpv bird looks good too, well done.
