Default chrome strips above the tyres...

i really wanna get the chrome strips taken off that are on all sides of the car above the tryes..but if i take em off there will be gaps and it will look S**t house...is there anywhere on the coast that could fix it up for me? panel beaters or somethin??

btw i aint a dumbass or anything by not doing these things myself i would just rather a professional do it and have it done right! lol!

I wish I could give you an exact but I live in Sydney. Why not look at some of the custom car mags and see who advertises in there for QLD?

Maybe someone else will come up with better info for you?

Could it be those chrome plastic strips that car yards place on cars to tart them up? If so they are stuck on and can be carefully removed and any residue cleaned off with eucalyptus oil or similar.

I wouldn't bother.

You may find that the paint may not be as faded as the rest of the car, an'd it'll look even worse, or there might be some 5hit glue under there, or you may chip the paint when taking them off... they really aren't that bad are they?

ahhh not really. if you take them off, they risk scratching the paint adn a whole lot of other issues. if you take em off. the panels, and incidently the whole sides of teh car will need a respray.

well ive seen some other ones with the chrome bits taken off and it looks soo much better!! would a panel beater do it and like go over the paint and respray it?

Have you seen other cars with them taken off, or just never fitted?
