Is there any chances of getting the forum software upgraded to the latest and greatest version??

the only issue I have sometimes with this forum is the error about the database or something.

This is seriously strange a newbie asking for a software upgrade... the rest of us who have been here for a while aren't complaining... about the software at least maybe about some of the content

The database thing looks to be the backup causing issues.. given that our database is getting big, particularly with the stuff in the gallery.. we'll have to look at how to streamline it.

I would actually wonder why someone woudl want to make a call via a forum actually !!
I spose it woudl be like MSN and you can see if they are online ... but then again, that's what MSN is handy for.

This setup is fine. Nothing needs to change, hell, one of the forums that I moderate has IPB from 2003. It works fine. Who uses Skype anyway?
