Default Mercedes Benz feeling the pinch..

And with Ford also showing pretty large losses it seems many are in a world of hurt at the moment...

In particular I have always thought Merc, Audi and BMW seem to push the platform model mix pretty hard and create niche cars and sub categories for consumers I didnt realise even existed.

Im sure they have teams with much more data than I have on hand, but the M8 GC is another example...

At what point does that car start eating any 5 and 7 series sedan sales?

Ford seem to have done a decent job a rationalizing, it will be interesting to see as the Koreans continue to grow how the effects the establishment.
