Exclamation Timing info needed for '88 Laser KE 1.6

: any info on tuning up a Laser KE 1.6L 1988 model would be much appreciated, thanks.

pm vippin or another laser owner ..

should be a sticker ..with that info .. on the underside of the bonnet

most of the roadside break down clubs have a free technical service
you can phone that club during working hours if no one posts

Wether carb or injected the timing is the same. Put the rocker cover in place and the cam cog marks are at 3 o'clock with the top mark lined up with the mark on the cover. The crank cog has a cut out that lines up with the pointer at the rear. The tensioner should only bear on the belt with the spring tension. Make sure these marks are lined up with the right side of the belt taut.This info is for the 1.6 B6 engine.
