Default 4 week old focus titanium, now scratched

Just wondering what to expect for quotes for resprays?

It is a MK II Titanium in Candy Red, and the rear passenger door copped a swipe from a metal pole. No panel damage as far as I can see, but the scratch is broad.
I'm assuming that they need to re-do the entire door, but I have heard that because of the 'pearl' they need to redo the entire side.

Update: The fiance just got our first quote which came in at $1,100. Does that seem steep/about right/cheap? I have no idea what to expect.

Nope, not too cheap, we had a faint scratch taken out of my wife's Suzuki Swift on the front guard which the other guy paid $710.00 for.
