Default Look what she did to my car! <--pics!

Ok, well it isn't my car anymore, but thats beside the point...

Some of you may remember the car I had before the NF, an ED Gli, with freakishly low k's and an immaculate body? It now belongs to my fiance'.

She turned into a parking spot in Carlton, swiped a large concrete bollard that contains the parking meter... She then freaked out and hit the accelerator and hit the Peurgot in the next parking spot... :(

Drivers side damage...

and the damage from the Peurgot

Luckily the insurance will cover the Peurgot 206 GTi, so i dont have to worry about that too much...

What she did to the buzz box

The bumper can be fixed, I have some spare clips... But I need some new EB/ED door shells... preferably in quartz...

So... does anyone have some cheap panels?? :P

My guess is he only has 3rd party property, so his damage is his own problem.

Bugger. That's a real shame. That car was mint. Luckily nobody was hurt, that's the important thing. Unfortunately accidents happen, which is something I know all too well. You'll end up (or she'll end up) having to pay an excess, that would probably be around $850 or so (well, that's what it is for me), so just be prepared for that.

I find there's not much point going full-comp on a relatively stock e-series. That's what I've got as well. Insurance is expensive, and if you get full comp, you pay more for insurance than what the car is worth lol

You haven't said that to me, but then again I don't have a girfriend, plus my car is a POS so it probably doesn't matter lol!

Well, i've just given it a cut and polish on the affected areas... it came out ok... but will still need to be repaired properly.

We ripped the drivers door trim off and pushed out the metal off the door handle rod, so the door can be opened properly now.

Unfortunately the excess is going to be $1100... stupid just cars insurance putting their prices up.

$500 is the standard excess, plus the age excess of $600...

With any luck the pug's damage will be less than that.

Does anyone know of a quartz eb/ed in a wreckers somewhere? Maybe jolly's or something? I only ask because there aren't a lot of good wreckers around my area... jollys seems to have a lot of stuff :P

Ask Shaun. He'd know what's at Jollys! He practically lives there!

And $1100 ffs that is steep.
