Default AU Clock spring.

I m replacing the clock spring on my AU1..due to the horn not working from the pad..and cruise control illuminating on the dash but not functioning. just wondering if there are any precautions that need to be followed fitting a clock spring?

Keep steering straight and don't turn clock spring until its fitted.

I purchased a used clock spring for $55 from a wrecker.. once fitted the horn and cruise now function.

I need to do the same but the WM has no instruction on removing the steering wheel only ref to making sure to disarm air bag which ive done

Do i need to secure column to undo the steering wheel torx bolt, as its tight the wheel is moving as i try and undo the bolt any info would be helpful

All good got the bolt undone spent all arvo trying to budge wheel of by whacking and rocking etc will not budge so used a puller still wont budge hahahaha its just peeled the alloy away from the centre now im really in trouble if anyone can help can you give me a call on 0439 711 028 coz i have no idea how this going to come off now - its a T3 momo steering wheel
