Default 2 HPC coat OR not

i was just wondering whether it is worth the extra 300 bucks or not, does it really give a performance increase or just mainly for heats issues. The headers i get will most likely be stainless steel.

Mainly just for heat issues, I cant justify spending the extra $300.

apparently on the topic of HPC. my mechanic had a look at my pacemaker comp extractors and told me that there very close to the steering control arm (i think) & apparently cos its so close it gets hot and after a while there a bit sorta like a ball joint in there which stuffs up so it may be worth getting HPC rather then coming across this problem not that i have but it may be worth having a look into.

I'd say you wouldn't be able to feel the power difference but it would help, but HPC is mainly for heat issue's and a better look/finish, if money wasn't a problem I would get it done.

I have mine JetHot ceramic coated.
Looks horn, has definately decreased the underhood temps..
They say you do gain a small amount of horsepower due to the gases escaping quicker(laminar flow)as the insides are super slick also.. But my bum didnt really feel it.
If you get em done, dont buy stainless grab a mild steel set n get em coated, will cost cheaper and will last just as long as the stainless set

Lower temps = better for your cars bits. Better safe than sorry I reckon.
