Angry problem with 1993 ed

Have 93 ed, keep going through (blowing out)coolent/heater hoses. Just had ignition coil changed as it wouldnt start. When car runs it idles very very rough then looses pressure on acceleration. I had to pump accelerator to get it to pick up. Mec's think it's head gasket problems, and now thinks its disi problems to. I have oil sitting in a few of the spark plug bays (on out side). most problems came after patching large hole in front muffler.

Any one out there got any thoughts, advice.

Could be your head gasket like suggested, see if you can see coolant down the side of the block or milky oil. Even a blocked cat could explain lack of power... Many possibilities.

BTW, how many kms has it done and do you know if the head gasket has ever been changed?
