hi guys any one done a V8 swap into an ea before i had the engineer aprove it i have the car and the parts i just need the push to do it.
will it actually go faster than a six or just on par. now does anyone have any advice or ideas on what delemas i will have. the parts are out of NL ghias i actually have the whole car so if any one can beat some : sence into me would be great thanks guys |

it really depends what you put into it and how much you're planning on modding the engine in the future.

if u've got plans like that, then go the 8 for sure.
stock for stock, the cars will be fairly similar, the 8 will prolly have a little bit more go but it depends on the car.

cool thanks yeah the plans i aint sure to do them yet but it is certain that it will be straight gas and the auto gear box out of the NL fairlane so it should be an inprovement on the 3.9 multi point. :lookedat: do you have much trouble with your gas research system ?

hey does anyone know if the airbags have gone off will the car still run and will it do any thing to the car if i remove them as the NL on donor has blown airbags

the car drives etc with them blown, i'm guessing the dash light will just be illuminated.
i've driven my car with the air bag removed from the car and it just had the light on the dash. my GRA system has been pretty flawless.

thats good cos i was worried that the car i have found for the transplant might be no good cos of the airbag blow out
