First time I've heard of them going on this forum. How many Kms have you done?

same problem on my focus. Every time i go to make a 90 degree turn i can here a loud clicking noise.

I'm hoping they are covered under warranty, as I don't think they are classed as "consumables" and should last the lifetime of the car.

What do you mean by slip?

When i plant the accelerator on my car, the wheels seem to stutter, do not spin at all, as if there is too much grip and it feels like something will snap, it even does it in the wet, until i slap it in second, then they start spinning.
What could most likely be causing this? (sorry, don't mean to jack your thread)

Could be the rear engine mount. Pretty sure mine is on the way out.

hey mate what i mean by slip is that the cv joint turns in the wheel hub without turning the wheels lol hence the massive knock because its throwing the bearings around, ive only done 32000kms although ive got big wheels on it 18" and i dont treat her to well im too used to my other cars haha and im spewing because my warranty ran out in june but yeah, ohh nah all my engine mounts were changed in june just before my warranty ran out so lucky for that, ohh and mine does it in pretty much every gear when turning but im not driving it anymore untill i get it fixed before the cv joint snaps and falls out and breaks everything lol, thanks.

Hey bseos, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but if you've lowered your car, they probably won't replace them under warrenty

I used these guys for the Festiva,

A & L Drive Shafts
6/46 Elizabeth St
Campsie NSW 2194
(02) 9787 1622

They fitted reco shafts with new CV joints for $125 per side on the Festiva. The next lowest price I got was a fair amount more than that.

100% new was not that much more either. Like $30.

They advertise a lot on ebay as well.

See how you go with them.
