That looks pretty tough, you will need some bigger wheels because those ( i think there stockos?!) look tiny.
Go for it, whats 179 usd in Aud?? bout 400? i dont know what the exchange rate is.. still seems like a darn good price. Go for it

Based on 72 cents per dollar it's less than AU$250 for it

Postage will be the killer, i can imagine $300 or something stupid.
Some friends spent $66 US postage on my last birthday and it was a box of stuff weighing less than 6kgs.

Interesting front bar, looks very low! I'm looking for an RS front bar for when I destroy my current one (which is only a matter of time, surely), someone in Melbourne does them but they are extremely expensive.

I have some contacts at TNT who shuld be able to get a discount air freight rate on the import cost. The current exchange rate for USD is around 0.76, so that works out to be around $240.00 Australian Dollars.....

Am really tempted, but will have to wait til after May as my missus would kill me if I went off and did it before the wedding.

nice bar bro!

although it does look alittle NFSU to me (not that thats a bad thing!)
and if you do get it, you will now have to buy the rest of the kit so it all flows nicely hehehehehehe

U.S postage costs are pretty extreme. my dad lives there and sends stuff over from time to time and its just ridiculous what he has to pay.
as for TNT we are getting a front cut (from the front of the engine forwards) sent down from Brisbane to Warrnambool and that alone is $190.

Ther is to much up the top of the hole in the bar there.. if the top part wasnt as thick it would look better

and the colour of it and the car dont match either, think that makes it look a lot worse then it actually is

overall, its not to bad.... wouldnt mind another hole running the length of the bar just near the top

Contact a importer of cars & see if there is room in the container.Sometimes a reefer is coming back so the cost is not as expensive. They have their own brokers as well or you could get in touch with freight importers.

Well sorry mate I dont like it either. For the price though I cant suggest anything so my .02 would be that u get what u pay for. As for the quality? Well its FG, so you know what that means. Sorry dont mean to bash at what seems to be a bargain.

I second the motion.

The car also looks kinda unbalanced, big front, small rear, needs some sort of large but not silly rear wing.

I purchased my bodykit and cf hood/bonnet from the states to be shipped over here.. it cost something like $450USD (including crating of the bodykit, but not the hood), but you had to pay for your own customs duty and gst. BTW, customs duty on the parts is sth like 15%, and you have to pay GST on teh WHOLE final amount. You can do your own Customs... you dont need a customs broker unless you have no time and plenty of dosh... and you also had to pay your own dockyard release fee.... which is per cubic m.

BUT, my bodykit was PolyU,and my hood was cf, which is either more flexible or stronger than FG... so probably not worth it in your situation....

interesting front bar...not totally sold on it, unless youre going to be putting a big front mount intercooler in the gap - then it would be understandable
