Just wanted to get an update on the track day. Is it still limited only to club members? I have a few guys at work who I think are interested. One is keen to give me a deposit. He doesn't drive a ford, but his Porsche goes as good as Mr Butlers T-Series looks.

He is keen. I've also told the wrx boys at work about this as well.

Anyway, just trying to help with the numbers.

Cheers

Dwayne

We will need a deposit of $50 per car by the next club meetings.

At the moment we are opening this to the newcastle, sydney & canberra clubs but if we can't get numbers we will look for other people to join us.
We will have the track to ourselves from 9am to 4pm.

There is a limit of 15 people on the track at any time.
There is no speedlimit but there is no overtaking on the corners, only on the straights.

If we get 30 people the cost will be $155 per car + $40 for a licence if you don't have a cams licence + $20 for a helmet with a $50 deposit.
If we get more people the cost will be cheaper.

If you want any more info you can ring me on 0410 651 865

Cheers

Nathan

Nathan, ill mention this at the next meeting, and start taking money if you like. Let me know what you'd like to do

What is variation in cost and will the day still happen if we don't get 30? As far as cost goes I am assuming that there is a fixed amount that gets divided up between the numbers that make it. Just won't to know a worst case scenario to budget against.

Also, how much deposit will be required?

Cheers,

Marty

Total cost is $4640. That is for track hire, insurance & ambulance.

We would like to get $50 deposit per car as we need a minium of 1/3 total cost to secure the track.

I gather that its a deposit up front. No refund policy under any circumstance? If the track day is cancelled due to lack of interest after everyones deposit is made, then the money is also forfeited?
