Yes chrissie, you and Hoops were missed...

Just want to say Thanks to the boys, Nathan, Shorty, Steve, Tim and Alan for their spectacular effort in organising the display. FORD wanted it and they certainly got it! Proof was in the visits from Tom plus David and his wife Sandy. Nice of them to make the effort.

Also to my Promo Girls. WOW! is all I can say...well done Rachel, her friend (spelling?) and Christine. You were stunning. Hope you enjoyed the day.

Congrats to Marty from ACT on being awarded Team GT's display car prize. Hope you enjoy it...

Look forward to more fun and excitement at Oran Park...last one...

Thumbs up

Well what a weekend we have just had, a great result and a great display. Let me say thankyou to Kiwi and Wayne who gave up a lot of their weekend doing club stuff for us.

Now let me say the display would have been nothing without the organising skills of Shorty, Nat, Alan, Tim & Steve who did a wonderful job setting up the display. We all know it was an early start and the grass on the hill was wet so that made their job that little bit harder.

To all the people who displayed their cars thankyou for your patience, and to those who had a whinge about the time it took, think about getting out and helping. Look at the result they achieved. It is the first time in 3 years that I have been part of the display that Tom Gorman, David and Sandy Flint, Ross Booth and other Ford officials along with Team GT all came up and agreed the display looked fantastic.

Now to Rob who enjoys setting up the events like this one and to see the weekend go over the way it did will make her happy, I know she is already planning the next big one.

Again let me say a big thankyou to all.

Glenn

A big thanks from this end as well. The weather was perfect, the results even better and the organisation was excellent. The display looked fantastic!
It was great to catch up with everyone again - if only some people could actually learn to sing at karaoke! :

Were the holdens there ??????????? :

It is a credit to the organisers and the owners of the cars. I have now seen the photo from corporate hill, AND IT IS AMAZING.
The passion for the Blue Oval is evident, and it must brighten the hearts of Aus Ford exec's to see that their products are loved.

p.s The weekend results were not too bad either (under staement or what)

Regards

Paul

This is from an email sent to me by David Flint. Just shows that we are noticed and appreciated. Once again thanks to Shorty, Nat, Steve, Alan and Tim for a top job in organising the 'FPV' and border.

It was good to catch up with you all and I hope that you will
congratulate all of your members in each of the clubs for an outstanding
display.

Have fun!

David

those x-ray glasses must be hard to get seeing as a short Orrcon driver didn't want to part with mine! I thought I was going to have to trade him something.

next time I will hit him up for a deposit...
