So did AU fairmont ghias get ripped off in the rear sway bar department cause mine don't have one. But my parents AU2 fairlane ghia does.

must've mate, its bull crap, my 98 fairmont ghia doesnt have one either and considering they retailed closer to a te50 than an xr8 im very dissapointed. the only other two i have seen is a series 1 fairlane which did not have one and a series 2 rebel xr8 which was in work the other day did, called ford and they are above the 1000 mark genuine but whiteline do one in the area of 180-230 on ebay i found

Ihad a bad experience with my Au 6 I fitted a whiteline sway bar to the front
and the bar u bolt broke. I was told they do that. I fitted heavy duty front and back after that and have had no probs. To much wheight for one to handle on hard cornering. When it snapped I almost went bush. With 2 it feels smooth no growning from up front. Why they dont fit them as standard? Ba on has both cant be a wrong choice. All the best |

I did whitelines on F&R on the AU2 (live axle) and it transformed the way the car handled. One of the best mods done to that car.

sway bars are amazing. how ever if you have IRS. wellllll yeah i dont want to talk about it.

I agree getting both was best ever cornering is flat and predictable in control. I am happy I did it
