To be honest that's why I take my flybuys points as 'flybuys dollars'. I just cash 10k-20k points in one go for $50-$100 off my regular shopping rather than get their reward products that I then have no where to go with if they fail.

When you angle park on a main Rd and the vehicle next to you is either a van, 4WD or has the darkest tinted windows since the elephant man got his first car, and you try to reverse out.

Doing an oil change on my FG today (first time I've serviced this car),
I finally loosen the oil filter which felt like someone had tightened with a rattle gun, then carefully lower the filter down to the drain pan and managed to do this without spilling a drop. Right at the last minute, oil runs between my fingers and the filter, the filter then slides out of my hand and lands in the drain pan splashing used oil all over the underside of the car, right up my arm and all over the concrete. Apart from some colorful language and a big cleanup, everything went to plan... |

My ute has a large oversize but legal canopy (Gilflite). I sometimes get these comments thrown at me..... my answer (remember I come fom a town/city 12000 people "just drive out the same way you normally do.... no regard for others" Doesn't always go down well. But I use reverse camera and am lost without it. Even hate driving wifes Outback wagon, reversing out as you are still blocked by SUV's, 4WD's etc

Decided to replace the little battery in the garage door remote today. Has been jittery for too long now, today was the day!
Went down the shops, bought the correct battery, jumped back in the car, nearly had it all replaced and back together then proceeded have the lot fall out of my hands and drop down between the seat rail and centre console Ten minuted of swearing, fumbling and grazed knuckles to find the stupid little battery lodged behind some trim under the seat. I'm sure the guys in the store had a good laugh watching this from the window

Geez I hate when people attempt to use words they don't understand.
Singular: dummkopf. Plural: dummköpfen. If you're going to try insulting others in German, at least get it right. Otherwise you're the one that looks a fool... |

Haha, and you also get it wrong, no such word as dummköpfen, that would be something someone that has german as a second langue would say and is false grammar, plural would be dummköpfe

Yeah, what a noob

I would use dummköpfen when I don't know the people I'm talking about or was talking in general terms but I would probably use dummköpfe if I actually knew them. It would be interesting to find out I've been speaking the language wrong for so many years and that none of my friends (who still live there) have picked me up on it though. |

Tried to donate to make a wish, PayPal boobytrap appeared, making it impossible to proceed. Asking for passwords that don't exist does not make it easy.
I'll donate off line, coin in box style. |

Is it that i'm getting old and boring or....
I was reading another thread on here with women in shops with some items in there trolleys stopped in the middle of the isle on there phones... seriously there was 2 within 2 metres of each other like a road block. There is a time and a place shorely. Maybe i'm getting old plus watching Becker lately isn't helping either. |

You're getting older, but you're observing people getting more self-absorbed.
Had a dude pull out of a KFC drivethru last night, turned rightt straight across me, I had no choice but to brake hard to avoid hitting them. Young Indian fella with his nose in his phone, completely oblivious. I swear he doesn't even know I was there, almost on his lap! |
