WHo retrimmed his interior?

Did he do it in leather or parachute/pantyhose material? How much did he pay? I am shopping around for trimmers

Does anyone have access to the Ford commercial made for the release of the Landau? It was on TV at the time in the early 70's. It was made down Cape Schank way (south east of Melbourne) and had someone repelling down the cliff face in sillouette towards the end. That someone was me. To satisfy my curiosity I occasionally do a search in case it's found its way onto the internet but no luck to date.

Just went through this whole thread looking for pics of Landaus with C4 Chamois Leather and pictures.

Most of them were Parchment, Black , and Saddle

A couple of whites but no C4 Chamois :(

Was a great 30 mins though!!!!!!

Winabbey, I just had a look on youtube, but no luck.
I did see this video of a Landau in Florida. I have a mate in Florida, who ships me cars. He has a nice HK Bathurst Monaro there, I should ask him to keep an eye out.

I took the photo of the engine bay. it needs a general tidy up and i'm on the look out for a replacement preslite wiper washer motor and need to replace the heater tap which the previous owner did a 'work around' on.

the photos of the car are courtesy of the previous owner as I haven't had a chance even to wash it since the drive down from Sydney.

Spoek to him once by chance as I rang about an AU Fairlane V8 he had for sale about 3 months ago

He said he had a Landau as well and said it was black....I put 2 and 2 together and asked if it was the one that used to have a boot rack as I had seen pictures of it before. I have a habit of bumping into Landau ppl.....

Small world!

EDIT:

Pics of Landau repro badge on bottom right of pic above. it is pictures next to an original insert.

Will have to call the mystery member and inform him of the Coupe Anniversary

As long as this car isnt parked near mine we will be fine. Otherwise I will kick myself for spending so much $$$ on a Tropic Gold Landau......
