Fair dinkum, that would have to be the most horrible, nastiest plastic I have ever seen in a car period. If that's any indication of the quality of these things then I shudder to think what the rest of the car would be like.
Lol in the face of those who have jumped on the bandwagon to attack me. At least I'm not blinded by some irrational hype and sensationalism over a nameplate and can judge the car as I see it. Ford could release a great big steaming **** and put a Mustang badge on it and some would still drool and fall over each other over it.
If I happen to have a negative opinion of it then so be it. I don't see what makes my negative opinion any less valid than someone else's positive opinion. It seems you cannot post anything on this forum unless it's what certain precious people want to hear.
I hired a GT in Canada just last year, I didn't even notice the plastic in the car, go do 3000kms in one before posting such opinionated reviews of the quality of the car!!!

And yes, an EB manual can be had for under 50k

I don't think that your negative opinion is less valid than anybody else's. You just have more negative posts than most other members combined.

You pointed out in you first post that you hate, and have no time for, the new RHD Mustang.

What annoys people is that you keep harping on about it, it's made even funnier when all your information comes from press releases and photos.

I've been hanging out to sit in a Mustang, where did you sit in one so I can go there?

I have to ask...do you get any joy from your posts, you're only going to find us ignoring you totally which sort of defeats the purpose of being here in the first place.

Look, While I agree that Muscle is built with cylinders and cubic inches, you cant really argue that the EB is still a bit of a weapon right?

Here is the comparison figures between the EB and the V8.

http://blog.caranddriver.com/perform...tang-ecoboost/

The EB has a reported 13.9 second quarter mile, just 0.9 seconds slower than the 8, and a 5.2 second 0.60mph.

I'm not saying it's slow. Any I'm not knocking it. Yes the figures are impressive on paper and I thought it would be a cracker of a car.
Then I drove one. It just lacks some fizz. There's nothing to put wood in your trousers. It goes ok but just does it without feeling and sounds awful. Maybe it's too refined or over governed but I tried all the race and sports modes and it didn't matter. It just feels like a non event. It may suit some people or be a great daily drive. But I wouldn't buy it.
I'd spend the extra money and buy the Mustang that feels like an event every time you start it. The V8 deserves to wear the GT badge. In comparison it feels more raw and alive. Put it in race mode and it can become real exiting real quick and oh that sound. That sound makes ladies underwear fall off.

So to me, there's more to how a car drives than the numbers. Sometimes the numbers only tell part of the story.

Again, not knocking the EB. It's an important model in the line up. But please go and drive it before laying the money down. It may not suit everyone.

Saw a Ruby Red Stang out on the road (in the rain, too ) between Rosedale and Sale today.

There is also a black one just down the road from me at home. Must be a weekender car tho as that is the only time I have seen it out and about.

Of course the Mustang is not the best looking car ever with the most grandest interior, BUT amongst the bland sea of FWD Mazda's, Hyundai's, Toyotas, SUV's, hatch backs etc...it is such a breath of fresh air to see a 2 door "sports coupe" with a nimble 4 cylinder turbo or a rocking V8 cruising the streets.

The stang looks good, is sleek, looks in proportion in nearly all angles and would leave the majority of the bland cars on the road in the rear view.

Just my view!

Even the latest XR8 has a rather bland interior. Looks the same as all the others from FG on, very grey.
