Poor bugger ... I hope he didn't have to make an urgent dash.

Not a car mod or part but quite funny anyway.
Working in a kitchen at a restaurant as a chef we had some younger dish washers and one day we decided to pull a little prank on a cocky young bloke who was always telling us he could be a chef and knew all there was to know. Asked him if he knew the "quick" way to make ice? Reply was no. So we said "we really need some, go into the cool room with a bucket of water, sprinkle paprika into it and stir counter clockwise with a wooden spoon first seven times then clockwise 7 times and keep alternating until ice cubes form. Go quick!!" Poor lad was in there for ages with his hoody on trying to "make ice" stirring a bucket of water with paprika in it. Pretty funny when someone finally caved and told him he was getting pranked.

Not a fake part but funny as. My cousin walked into an Autobahn store & asked for new front wheel bearings for his falcon wagon.
The sales rep say's "do you want the left or the right side"? Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Cous' took great expletive delight in telling him "I think you'll find they're both the f____n same"! |

Apprentice painters first week onsite. The boss says "go down to the paint shop & get some tartan paint"!
About three hours later the apprentice arrives back on site, fronts the boss & says "here, I couldn't find any tartan so here's a tin of yellow, a tin of green, a tin of red & a tin of brown....you can mix the b__tard ya' self"! |

Painters jokes:
Solid roller so you can apply more pressure! Reversing brush, makes it easier to go back over your work! triple sided tape for a sticky situation! The "flat roller tray"... obviously for applying flat paint! Adhesive ceiling paint! Double head brush, for doing 2 coats at once! Semi circle brush for cutting in around light fittings. Trust me, it does make it easier! Long roller extension & short ladder, or visa versa! Making your work mate a ham, cheese & (sellys no more gaps) mayo' sandwich! Best trick of all is getting the apprentice to move a couple of heavy drums of paint (lets say 20lt drums). Then the last one is empty......they'll damn near smack themselves in the chin when they go to reef it upward & take the weight! (or just screw the empty drum to a timber floor) |

When i was an apprentice i was sent out for a long weight. Didn't really like the job so went home for 5 hours. Returned to work just before knock off time explained I had been everywhere and kept getting sent somewhere else. Never got pranked again.

We sent the detailer who was a deadshit, over to the lunch shop and ask for a 'honey roll over and lettuce on top'. Yeah, he came back with a lettuce sammich, none the wiser...
