G'day guy's, I to am a new member to this site, i a'm rebuilding a XA 2door from ground up, My main & real concern right now is to know the true dimentions of a "XA" GT BONNET, the center ridge is my big drama i need to now if the ridge go's right to the back of the bonnet or stops just short, if so can someone please give me the EXACT length. Also does the center ridge realy taper down as it gets to the back of the bonnet or stay the same hight all the through. Sorry if i'm in the wrong section, i a'm new.

Hey all, just posting to say hi and hope to get to know you all over time.

I have a BA XR8 (Phantom sedan) since August and loving every bit of it, but getting that tinkering urge to learn more about it and see what can be done to bring out more of the beast within.

I have had fords before being an XD Falcon and ZL Fairlane which I also enjoyed owning.

Even though I wanted a manual, I have the Auto XR8 but after a serious accident in May (my last car written off... truck t-boned me) my left leg is not really working properly anyway so it suits me fine.

Anyway, enough yabbering I have a fair bit of reading ahead of me I think... where to begin I'm not sure lol

Cheers for having me

Default Introduction

Hey guys,

Not sure how you all feel about foreign members but I decided to join up anyway.

Name's Dave, I'm from Ottawa, Canada. I'm 24 and own a 2006 Mustang GT.

Let me just say that you guys get all the good Ford cars. Here in North America, Ford is a bit of joke besides the Mustang and maybe the trucks.

Dave

Mods coming in the spring: Flowmaster axle back exhaust, Steeda CAI, SCT Xcalibrator performance tune, Eibach springs, Adjustable Panhard Bar, Steeda Ultra-lite wheels 18 x 9.5 and new rubber.

Eventual mods: Kenne Bell 2.8L Supercharger, 4:10 gears, all the fuel system stuff I'll need for the S/C.

Wow Dave ,
What a "Nice" Mustang , you like some of our cars , we Love your car , we'll "have to do a Swap" : they're going back to the "Original" look.

How's this for an "Offer" , You come over here for a month or 12 ( With your car of course ) , You can have a drive of our's and we can have a drive of "Yours" (joking) .

Thanks for the Photo's :

Norm

hi all,

Dan from wollongong nsw,

For years I was a holden boy, having done soo much work on friends XE's & XD's and a few others i swore id never get a FORD, how wrong i was.... but this time glad to be wrong.

We just bought a 1990 EA it has some "minor malfunctions" caused by the last owner, I wish there was a mal-owners suit so you could take people to court for the way they treat thier cars.

But we will work out the kinks.

We just got it resprayed this afternoon and ill post some pics of her soon from "stark white" to red.

Hi guys n gals, I been looking in here for the last couple of years, but had a gutful of the dreamers on FM, so here I am, have a BA Fairlane Ghia, in pearl blue, lowered on XR8 rims, nothing flash, but its a great highway cruiser.

Hello everyone. My name is Shane and I live in Calgary,Alberta, Canada. I am a long way away but I have been interested in the cars that Ford produced over in your Country. I have to say that you guy's are lucky and have some impressive rides there. In Canada we are dominated with the Mustangs. I looked at the FPV that you guy's have and wow. They stomp the Mustang in every catergory. I am also a technician for Ford here too and I have to say that the only place that I see a 5.4L engine is in the F-150 truck's or the Lincoln Navigator SUV.

Well I hope to be on here alot and browse through all your pics in the gallery

Thanks
Shane
