Yep, dad got t-boned when he was 18, lost 1.5" out of his right leg, walked with a limp & sciatica for the rest of his life.
It got him off bikes for 30-something years before he bought a CX500, K100RS, R65LS, R100 LS and cycled his way through them before ending up with a '97 TL1000S which I'm pretty sure scared him enough his local bike workshop did more K's on it than he did. Its a shame, in some ways I think its sad he cheated the sausage creature, dementia got him in the end.

Back on topic of "Geez I hate that"
Why do you take so long to fix out junk, then get cranky when we get someone else to fix it? Well gee.... you get some of the most braindead critters in creation to fix your junk, then it breaks even worse and I need to go back in and undo all the damage they did while doing a backyard job of "fixing it"..... ever think that if I wasnt fixing someone elses bubblegum "fixes" I might get to do the real repairs a lot faster?

Foxtel remote can raise and lower volume Samsung TV remote can raise and lower volume Samsung Soundbar remote can raise and lower volume Usually the Foxtel remote is on full, so we use the Samsung TV remote on about 20 and Soundbar sounds great - all using the digital cable. Anyway you owe me 20 dollar for my expert opinion. |

I’ve strained my lower back again, no idea how. It was sore all yesterday, improved overnight and got worse this afternoon. Currently floorridden.
I hate that! |

Feels like its never-ending sometimes. Dad back in hospital for another heart op after they found his stents were well blocked (1 was 90% blocked!) And I have diverticulitis again 🙄 almost ended up in the bed next to him. Hoping you come good quickly |

Just to clarify.
Not the same bed, the other bed in the ward! Im pretty sure a badly placed comma in there could change everything |

Did you have an Uncle Jack, a horseman? Hope the ‘itis responds to medication; haven’t forgotten how yours is pretty dire.
I went (hobbled) into work this evening for more punishment on my foreign orders; as I was about to leave at 21:15 a father/son team turned up with Camry on a snatch behind Dad’s fourby. Dead clutch hydraulics, they thought. So of course my conscience meant I had to help shuffle it uphill neatly into the forecourt bays, back pain or not. Another job for tomorrow and the place is beyond chockers already. |
