Every site starts somewhere, and grows to be unique. Give it time and you will see what it can offer...
Basically, its for people who like metal.. If you dont, there is no reason to be at all interested. If someone looking for a metal site stumbles across it, and likes it, they will join and enjoy... I dont care about anything else really.. May I ask what code your site uses??

My own. It's written in Java, uses Maverick and Velocity (not JSP), a MySQL backend. It's all my own design.
If you can do something unique with your site, you'll attract more people.

Ok I might be missing something here,but when I try and register on ausmetal, the registration screen asks for my password, then to confirm it, but no where to enter a user id???????????? What am I missing here folks............this happens in both FF and IE

I would say about 15-20 have joined metal forums from here....
Ford lovers and metal lovers.. What more could ya ask for?? And for those who were turned off by the dead newbie forums, 39 members joined yesterday from a newly acquired advertisement... Be sure to check it out... Thanks again to those who have jined... \m/_ _\m/

A friend of mine started a new thrash band called Inslain. They had there first gig on Friday night at the Harp Hotel in Sydney. They had a good turn out and they were just the opening act.
