Hey Mark, you car just gets quicker and quicker everytime drop into this forum area! Can I ask how you're managing to get good power down on the Dunlops, or are you using other street tyres? I guess being auto helps as well, but so far my car in 'street trim' would have bugger all chance of getting any traction in first and second in a sprint unless I induce some serious clutch slipping:gren:

Thanks Col, using Toyo R1's yes they are street legal but there a fairly soft tyre.
Because we have no edit software for the 6 speed auto means the car leaves the softly, its not on the boost once out a few feet the boost is on and away you fly...
4 speed auto guys can stand on the the stall bring up the boost before they take off can also use any size hi-stall they like.
We will see 10 sec passes from these cars with auto edit software with factory fitted engines, they make the power to this in Street Trim with a good custom tune.
All this with factory 2.73 diff gear ratio, these cars really give you the best of street and strip.

.
Dazza's Cape.

Well when you get them in, come over the border and we can take them out for a run at Calder or Heathcote. It would be great to have a few runs together.

Dougstar, with cooler weather with your current set up, i belive you could improve on ur new pb again.
And with addition to that with a stall converter your getting fitted soon, should see a .3 seconds come down again just with that mod.
we all know jmm runs a stallie, probaly helps out big time, plus he runs slick aswell these days.
So 14.4 0r 14.3 with cooler weather, add in stallie, and your got a 13 n/a, then maybe racing slicks? then.....

Getting into the 13 second club would be nice, but I will just take it as it comes.

BTW, the JMM BA is a manual and he ran his 13.8 on street tyres.

Occured yesterday at the meet you were at with a XR6T running 138mph with a 13.2 et. Go figure.
And i've got the time sheets to proove it!!! All on standard injectors!!! :P

my best time was at 6:30pm, whilst it was still hot, ran 13.343 @ 106 miles, with a lazy 2.120 60 foot time..

Ohh, and my lazy 60 foot time was due to it only boosting to 4psi when stalling it up.. thats another issue i need to sort with my wastegate control.

Was hoping i would run better in the cooler air as the night went on, but as i had battled overboosting previously, it seemed in my effort to combat the overboosting, i over compensated, and crossed the line with only 6psi... so it would only do 13.5.

Also Johns blueprint xr6, although running on 20's, ran a 109 mile with 13.5 being his best et.. poor 60 foot times stopped him running fast.. he needs sticky tyres

Yeah. the miles shows a different story

As this was the first time i've ran mine after tuning it, its was more of a information gathering run...

I now know how to improve my 60foot and i also know my boost is dropping as i cross over the line

George Haddad said the comp car racers love the new start line, cars are hooking up very well.
Some of the true street tyre cars didnt like it, but VHT and street rubber dont work any way..

That's cool Mark, i'm not concerned about street tyred cars as they will always struggle on any racetrack when you try and nail it from the start, they go alright if you feed the power but that's awefully frustrating IMO.....

Slowly getting better, thanks for asking. It's taking time but the doctors did say it would. Having an MRI on Friday. Not looking forward to that :(

You'll probably see me back out there towards the end of March/start of April. It's been a while since I've been to Heathcote. I miss it and miss having the car worked on but I've had other priorities to deal with. Can't always be about the car unfortunately.
