do you need to have a certain amount of clearance between the exhaust pipe and the rear tyres.
at the moment i reckon the stock ea s-pack rear tyres are pretty close to the pipe, is there any chance of blowing the tyre from heat, if i went wider.

I got stockie 15" fairmont rims with silverstones on the front 205/65/15
and on the rear i good year f1 eaggle's 215/65/15 I think.

If I had money, I'd put silvertones on the rear also, as I got them at a top price. They are so much better compared to the f1's. The f1's slide so easily in the wet. Don't need give the car stick and it goes, and I imagine it would be worse if it was a single spinner. But the outsides have bean eaten at a fair bit. Has anyone else got f1's, and do they dislike them as much as I do?
